University of Illinios Trombone Ensemble

The University of Illinois Trombone Choir is designed to serve as a pedagogical extension of the Trombone Studio giving students the opportunity to apply skills learned in lessons to an ensemble setting.  The choir is a very active part of the School of Music at Illinois performing regular concerts on campus as well as several outreach concerts a year.  In 2025, the choir performed at the Midwest Clinic and this year marks the choir’s first appearance at the American Trombone Workshop.
