Where can I find the audition music?
The full audition packet is sent to everyone that applies online.
I have a medical condition/surgery/injury. Am I eligible to enlist in the Army?
It all depends on the variety of conditions. You can do a quick google search first to gather information on the more common situations. For a unique situation, you should contact your local recruiter.
Are there medications that will disqualify me from the Army?
Like the other medical conditions, there are a variety of medications that can disqualify you from service. You should contact your local recruiter to ask them first.
I am over 34 years old. Can I still audition?
The enlistment age is currently between 17-34. It is possible to receive an age waiver up to 40, but they can be difficult to approve. Contact your local recruiter first to see if you could possibly qualify for a waiver.
Where are the auditions?
All of the auditions are held in Brucker Hall, on Ft Myer, in Arlington, Virginia.

The annual starting salary for Staff Sergeant equates to $79,612 without dependents and $86,416 with dependents

The Blended Retirement System allows you to immediately begin contributing to a retirement account, in addition to being eligible for a pension after 20 years of active duty service.

Military Rank
Members of “Pershing’s Own” are given the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 42S (forty two sierra), “Special Band Musician”. Personnel are promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) two months after completion of Basic Combat Training.
