University of Arkansas Trombone Ensemble

The University of Arkansas Trombone Ensemble, the RAZORBONES, have been in existence since Dr. Cory Mixdorf's appointment as trombone professor at the U of A in 2013. The RAZORBONES appears in two forms, the large-group ensemble which features music majors and non-majors alike and the Select Octet, an auditioned group of eight performers. Performing challenging repertoire in the form of original compositions, commissions, and arrangements, the RAZORBONES has performed twice at the International Trombone Festival. This is the group's first appearance at the ATW, and we are grateful to be here!
