The Herald Trumpets

Often seen positioned on the Truman Balcony of the White House, The U.S. Army Herald Trumpets serves as the Official Fanfare Ensemble to the President of the United States. Officially founded in 1959, the group was formed to add splendor to official military ceremonies and were patterned after traditional British fanfare trumpet ensembles.
