SSG Sara Budnik’s singing “exudes a warmth that is hard to describe” (Taylor Clemons, Broadway World), and has granted her a colorful and diverse musical career. Since leaving her hometown of Huntington Beach, CA, SSG Budnik’s vocals have premiered in cabarets, regional theatres, and opera houses with symphonic orchestras.

SSG Budnik loves the stories brought to life by musical theater and has been seen as “Mother” in A Christmas Story: The Musical national tour, “Susan” in Sondheim’s Company (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina), “Peggy Lee” and “Cher” in What Happens In Vegas (Fireside Theatre), and “Narrator” in Murder Ballad (Cleveland’s Playhouse Square).

SSG Budnik also takes great joy as a professional soloist. Performing in “The Birth of Jazz” as a soloist with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and headlining “Country Hits: Songs from Nashville” with the Augusta Symphony are two of her favorite experiences. SSG Budnik has also performed as a soloist with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra and the Firelands Symphony Orchestra.

In 2018, SSG Budnik became a proud member of the USO Show Troupe and fell in love with being part of something bigger than herself while bringing joy to veterans and service members. After making the top 20 for Miss NY USA 2020, then placing as a Semifinalist in the American Traditions Vocal Competition that year (and later being awarded the ATC’s People’s Choice Award in 2023) - SSG Budnik is honored to have joined The United States Army Chorus in 2024.
