Biography

Originally from Downers Grove, IL, SSG Miles Teague joined The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” in April of 2024. Teague is currently finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Horn Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. While studying at Eastman, he has had the opportunity to freelance with several professional orchestras, including the Buffalo Philharmonic, Rochester Philharmonic, Canton Symphony, and Madison Symphony orchestras. His principal teacher is W. Peter Kurau, and he also has received critical instruction from Jacek Muzyk, Maura McCune Corvington, and William VerMeulen.
