Biography

SFC Kevin Taylor serves as the Logistics Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) for The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own.” He directs sustainment operations and establishes the standard for accountability and precision execution.
SFC Taylor entered the Army in 2009 as a Unit Supply Specialist. His career includes vital support to organizations including Ordnance units, Warrior Transition Units, and the Criminal Investigation Division (CID), where he developed deep expertise in managing complex logistics environments. His current oversight includes the management of sensitive items, ammunition, tactical and non-tactical vehicles, automation systems, and mission-essential musical instruments. Through his leadership, the formation remains mission-ready without exception. He is the Executive Overlord of Operational Sustainment: If it’s on hand, it’s right. If it’s not, it will be.
SFC Taylor holds the Master of Science in Acquisition and Supply Chain Management from the University of Maryland, a certification from the International Society of Logistics, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
