Biography

Joy Mote's love for singing sparked as a child through preschool church choir in Atlanta, GA where she was born and raised. She continued singing and eventually studied voice at Mercer University (B.M.) and University of North Texas (M.M.), where her professional career launched in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex as an artist with The Dallas Opera, an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Music and Worship in Fort Worth, TX, and a nationally touring soloist. Her versatile voice is comfortable in a variety of styles including classical, commercial, gospel, and country.
Joy is honored to both serve her country and continue pursuing her first love of singing as a new member of the U.S. Army Chorus.
