Biography
SSG Eric Messick joined "Pershing’s Own" in 2017 as an Audio Engineer for the Technical Support Group. Hailing from Midland, VA, he grew up on a family-owned Dairy Farm where he milked cows, raked hay, and more until he got his first guitar. Afterwards, he focused on music and audio engineering which has led him to pursue music professionally. He holds a bachelors in music with a focus in classical guitar among several professional certifications in music and engineering. Beyond these, he has performed as a vocalist in a touring A Capella group, been a featured composer at NYU Steinheardt, and even opening for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist. As a freelance audio engineer, he has built and staffed recording studios, certified Guinness World Records, recorded and mixed audio for nationally syndicated broadcasts as well as multi-platinum artists, and owns a production company. Beyond his profession, Messick casually enjoys reading, skydiving, playing music, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.
