Biography

Danh Pham is the Music Director for both the Washington-Idaho Symphony Orchestra and the Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra. He is Conductor of the WSU Symphony Orchestra, and Director of Bands at Washington State University.

Dr. Pham has conducted the renowned Seogwipo Philharmonic Wind Orchestra (Korea) in concert and is a conductor for JCLink Music Publications recordings that serves artists and teachers from China, the United States, Japan, Canada, and Hong Kong. He has taught and performed at numerous Asian conservatories, universities, ballets, and symphony organizations. In 2024, he will conduct in numerous European cities on tour, and will be making his conducting debut with the Calgary Wind Symphony. Dr. Pham has conducted All-State and All-Region ensembles throughout the United States.

Dr. Pham serves as NBA Northwest Division Chair, the Northwest Chair for the Dr. William P. Foster Project, and sits on the Collegiate Advisory Board for the Western International Band Clinic (WIBCU).
