For guidance on performance of foreign national anthems by military bands, please refer to DOD directive 5410.18 (cut and paste “DOD directive 5410.18” in a search engine), specifically paragraph 4.8.10, found on page 20. If your group is performing a foreign national anthem at a ceremony or concert, it is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy and currency of the printed music.
