We Can Do It! 💪
On April 10, 2024, the U.S. Army Brass Quintet and Chorus had the profound privilege of supporting a Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony in Emancipation Hall, honoring the “Rosies” of WWII.
Named after “Rosie the Riveter,” these women courageously filled roles traditionally held by men, such as building ships and planes, which contributed profoundly to the war effort.
This ceremony not only recognized their hard work and patriotism, but also reminded us all of the powerful impact of unity, courage, and sacrifice
Let us continue to honor and remember these extraordinary women, whose spirit and resilience inspire us all.
